Today’s movie trailer review is of Deuce Bigalow - European Gigolo. This is the second movie in the Deuce series and hopefully the last. It stars Rob Schneider and a slew of other actors we don’t care about. Check it out here.
Quite frankly, by all rights, the first Deuce Bigalow should have been a total failure of a movie. Let’s take a look at the things which were good about this movie.

That about sums it up. To further drive home the point, I’m going to list the good movies Rob Schneider has been in.
- 50 First Dates
The Hot Chick- Mr. Deeds
The AnimalLittle Nicky- Big Daddy
- The Waterboy
Judge DreddSurf Ninjas
Every halfway decent movie listed here has three things in common:
- They are Adam Sandler movies.
- They all have some sort of attractive female co-lead.
- They do not star Rob Schneider.
Once again, fairly self explanatory. Yet somehow, despite everything against it, the first Deuce Bigalow managed to sidestep fate and turned out to be a halfway enjoyable movie. It was only a mere cosmic fluke God did not extend his hand down from heaven and smite, strike, or otherwise bludgeon the film straight to movie damnation.
I’m no cosmic or religious expert, but it seems to me tempting the hand of fate more than once is just asking for trouble. If you go see this movie, I’d bring some kind of crucifix or other holy item, such as a potato chip shaped like Jesus or one of those little fish things you can put on the back of your car. Also, bring some holy water to drink or something. Coca-Cola might do the trick, but if you go to a Regal Cinema you’re screwed because they only serve Pepsi.
